We hope that you will join us in our Mission to rescue and shelter, until adoption, any animal in need of assistance. And help us reach our vision of a day when there are no animals in Washington County we cannot rescue and shelter before rehoming. Thank You for your support :)
As an event volunteer, you will engage the community by greeting, answering questions, providing information, offering memberships, and asking for donations. The special attention you would provide helps create a favorable impression that encourages ongoing support and brings us closer to our vision of a day when there are no animals we cannot rescue and shelter before rehoming.
Your membership provides us with community support and helps with needed funds to accomplish our goal of providing our community with a no-kill facility to help stray animals find their best homes. Your membership entitles you to receive a quarterly digital newsletter, and special emails to inform you of the latest shelter news. At the annual meeting, members may vote for those who serve on the shelter board, or even run for a position themselves. In addition, your membership invites you to participate in events and fundraisers and other volunteer positions to help make this much needed shelter a reality.
Your contribution to Weiser River Animal Shelter and Rescue is what helps make the impossible a reality for local animals in need of rescue and shelter.
Whether a monetary donation, donating your points from Weiser Ridley's Grocery, becoming a sponsor, or donating items to our Annual Yard Sale. Your support matters and makes a difference in the lives of Washington County animals in need.
Purchase items from Chewy.com to be directly delivered to our temporary home base. To immediately help animals in need.

Please help us get a count of the homeless/community cats in Weiser and nearby areas. If you see what you believe to be unowned or community cats, let us know how many, location (the more specific the better), and if you can get close enough, whether any of them have been ear-tipped. Ear tipping is when the vet snips a small piece off the tip of one ear while under anethesia during spay/neutering. If you feed/water otherwise care for them, please include that as well.
This information will help us establish baseline numbers for our new shelter and hopefully a TNR program.
